As every year, we celebrated the Domestic Goods Week with great enthusiasm this year! The “Local Goods Market” event we organized at Alim Schools was an unforgettable day for our students and parents.
In our classrooms, which we transformed into markets, our students took their stalls and introduced local products. They sold like real market vendors with the cry of “Buyrun, buyruuun!”. Each child learned about the importance of local production while at the same time reinforcing the awareness of savings and national economy in a fun way.
This event not only offered a market experience, but also created an environment where our children developed their social skills, instilled the spirit of entrepreneurship and supported teamwork. Our children also learned the value of charity and sharing by donating the proceeds of the products they sold to a social responsibility project.The purpose of the Domestic Goods Market was not only to teach children the value of local products, but also to help them develop eco-friendly consumption habits and support the domestic production of our country. Our parents participated in this event with great interest and shared their children’s excitement.
Throughout the event, our students learned how the products are grown, what stages they go through and why it is important to use local products. Together, we talked about how we can be more conscious individuals for our environment and economy by recognizing the natural richness of our country.
The proceeds from the event went to a social responsibility project for children in need. This step both raised the awareness of solidarity among our students and reminded us all once again of the beauty of cooperation.
