The day started with a pleasant breakfast. Our children started the day full of energy and had cheerful conversations with each other in the early hours of the morning. After breakfast, we performed our circle routines as usual. These routines were not only a fun start to the day, but also an important moment to develop our children’s ability to act together.
After breakfast and circle time, we set out to discover the beauty of the forest. Our children were thrilled to see the colorful leaves dancing on the branches of the trees. This riot of colors offered by autumn fascinated each of us like a work of art. Each child eagerly rushed to collect the leaves that appealed to them the most.
The leaves we collected gave us a great opportunity to show our creativity. Our children decided to make forest gnomes out of leaves. Each leaf turned into the colorful dresses of our gnomes. With the help of stick skewers, we joined the leaves together to form the bodies of our gnomes. The cute figures that emerged showed once again how wide the imagination of our children is. The atmosphere in the forest was as if dwarves were really living there.
After our creative activity, we continued our forest walk, exploring nature with the sunlight filtering through the leaves of the trees, the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. At every step, we encountered a different beauty. Our children expressed their admiration as they noticed new plant species and nature’s little surprises.
This wonderful day reminded us once again not only of the magic of nature, but also how enjoyable and instructive it is to be together. Our activities in the forest contributed to both the physical and emotional development of our children and instilled in them a love of nature.
