Home » A Day Full of Inspiration with Green Capsule!
This month, we had the opportunity to meet the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality’s environmentally friendly Green Capsule Project. This inspiring project allowed us to learn about agriculture and ecology in a fun and practical way. This event, where we experienced sustainable agriculture methods and had the opportunity to grow our own plants, further strengthened our bond with nature.
Greening Hopes from Wooden Boxes Our activity started with preparing our wooden boxes with love. The excitement and happiness in the eyes of the little hands as they planted the seeds in their boxes caught everyone’s attention. This joyful beginning led us to other activities where we explored nature and agriculture more deeply.
Unique Scents from Nature In the workshop on recognizing oils extracted from plants, we tried to guess the source of each aroma. This activity stimulated both our senses and our imagination. We had a fun experience between familiar smells and new discoveries.
In the greenhouse, we had the chance to see and get to know a variety of fruits and vegetables up close. By touching, feeling and smelling them, we once again understood the miracles of nature. These moments were an instructive experience that deepened our connection with nature even more.
In the section where we learned about hydroponic (soilless agriculture) systems, we discovered that it is possible to grow plants with only water and light. We were amazed to see how plants such as lettuce, strawberries and watermelon grow in this system. This activity made us realize that it is possible to make a big difference with few resources.
This unique experience showed us that a sustainable future is possible. The Green Capsule Project both strengthened our connection with nature and gave us new perspectives. We would like to thank everyone who shared this unforgettable day with us. May we always be a little closer to the miracles of nature!
